My whole life I was told not to eat too many eggs because they were BAD for my cholesterol.. But my grandma ate eggs every single morning of her life and lived until she was 97 and no high cholesterol lol. I think im gonna continue to eat this amazing food.
I followed my doctor's direction in the 80's and cut out eggs, fat & red meat (1980s - 2018). In 2018 my doctor increased my statin from 40mil to 80 because I had one reading of 220 cholesterol. My cholesterol dropped from 220 to 190, my A1C (which had been 6.0 from the 80s) zoomed to 7.1 and she wrote a script for metformin - that was my last visit to the doctor. I pay for my blood work annually, made adjustments to my diet and all three major readings are within normal range. I take no chemicals only herbs; I'm 78, still teaching at universality level and doing just fine.
I'm back to eggs & grapefruit every day ๐
I'm going on 88 years old and Ive eaten two eggs just about every day of my adult life with either bacon or fried baloney. Breakfast is my favoriate meal.
Thatโs one food I never compromised even when they said it was bad for you even when they said just eat the egg white I always ate the whole egg. Somehow I instinctively knew.
Went on egg diet in 2019 for about two months. 8 eggs, a bunch of salads and a medium slice of raw butter in weekdays. Rice, roasted chicken or fish and some greens during the weekends. Nothing else. No sugar, no junks, no snacking. Barely exercise. Threw more than 30kg off my weight. Perfectly normal blood pressure and heart rate. Skin became lighter and glowing. No brain fog. No bad mood. No food cravings.
I eat eggs everyday doc. Along with cucumber, kiwi, carrots, banana, lemon Water. I also take ginger, and tumeric. And other supplements, to keep my boddy Healthy. I am 14 year Old btw, and love your content doc keep it up๐โค
Started lifting... bodybuilding... lifestyle fitness at 16yo. 50yo now and have consumed appx 128,000 eggs in this time. In better shape condition and looks than most 30yr olds. Didn't listen to docs then and don't listen to em now. But Berg really gives great advice. My entire life experience confirms it
Make sure that the eggs are PASTURE RAISED, organic, soy free, grain free and the like. It is worth the extra cost. I recently bought cage free and the yolks were yellow, not orange, which is an indicator of a lower quality egg. Love the eggs. They can be a pure product. Also, make sure that you do not consume uncooked egg whites, because that will interfere with the absorption of the yolks nutrition components.
In 2016 I was diagnosed fatty liver while i got my ultrasound report for cholesystectomy(gall bladder removal). For the past 2 and half years i have been taking one whole hard boiled egg in the breakfast. Last month i had done ultrasound and there was no liver fat Alhamdo Lillah
Three whole eggs sunny side up, slices of smoked salmon, half a cup of guacamole and all nut granola with pepper and granulated garlic every single day. ๐ช๐พ
I talked to a nutritionist that told me only eat 2-3 eggs a week. I eat them when I want to. I think these nutritionists havenโt been learning anything new in years or maybe even decades. My daughter has a degree in it and knows more than that practicing one. Iโm with you Dr. Berg.
Dice two pieces of garlic, Let it do oxidation reaction for two minutes , Then add to a boiled egg or to salad . Eating a little amount of green leaves can wash away most of garlic cent from your breath
Us too. Itโs cold right now where we are, so our girls arenโt laying very many, but bright orange yolks are tasty. We had scrambled eggs this morning, cooked in bacon grease. ๐๐๐
Oddly, the pasture organic eggs my market sells are yellow, but the pasture non-organic is a nice orange. I don't buy based on the label. As long as those orange yolks are in stock I'm buying them.
I felt better after I started eating my fresh home grown quail eggs which I'm told is even better for you than commercial chicken eggs. I love the few birds I have. They aren't regulated, they stay in their cages. Easy to clean. Everyone should have at least 10 hens laying at least 10 eggs per person every day and children should take care of theirs. Get tiny scissors to open them up if you don't hard boil like I do. They go into my soups by cracking them open and dunking them in while the soup is boiling, no need to break the yolk. I've felt a billion times better after eating them.
So far this year l am consuming 6 to 8 eggs a day 3 hard boiled eggs for breakfast 5 sunny side up eggs for lunch and dinner (l eat lunch and dinner same time between 6 pm and 7 pm) by the way my breakfast is between 9am and 10 am l eat only twice a day NO SNACKS in between meals l feel great l am now 95 years old

True, cook in butter, not Seed oils ... or boil them. Use Celtic Sea Salt (or any Real salt)
