Oh man! Those images at the introduction really got to me. I remember, when I was a teen, there was an empty land behind out countryhouse; at dusk I used to wait for rats to come out of their holes to the riverside. It was a waiting game, and as they came out i shot them with a .22 old rifle. Now, seeing humans being hunted in the same way really did something to me. That ain't war, ain't hunting, it is just killing. God damn the warmongers! Those men, Ukrainian, russian, or whatever they are should have had the chance to live, work, raise their kids... That is why I detest fascists of any nationality, it is never their kids that get to go. I wonder how many of those men were snatched on the streets. There is no uglier thing than this. One has to be very careful who you vote for, and always know not to ask for whom the bell tolls... It tolls for you and me alike. (Paraphrasing Ben Johnson).

oil refinery is tuned for specific types of crude oil, that is why market resist change so much, the oil refinery in many country cannot easily shift to new imports without much costs to change the refinery. They are waiting in hope this crises end soon. Sweet means low sulfur, sulfur smells, crude oil based on sulfur, metals and viscosity and each oil well different amounts. Light sweet crude is most valuable least amount of cost to refine to crude oil derivatives: naptha, jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, bunker fuel, etc.

For most countries the price of oil will now become realistic as all oil that was on tankers, sitting at sea when the US and Israel started this conflict would be delivered and these tankers are now empty and looking for a cargo to pick up. Can they go back to the Persian Gulf and take on cargo and answer is not under present circumstances.
The US likes to point out the 100 or so tankers moving towards the Gulf of Mexico to take on product without realizing that the US combined facilities have an ability to load about 4 billion barrels per day. A single VLCC (very large crude carrier) has a capacity of 2 billion barrels so wherever it docks it will take time to fill.
Once full these vessels will have to make their way to offload at some terminal and travelling at 12 knots per day you are looking at approximately some 50 travel days to reach ports in Asia.
